With many lovely anchorages and plenty of coves and beaches to explore, including Babbacombe Bay, Fishcombe Cove and Goodrington Beach, Torquay is the perfect cruising location. Heading south brings you to the picturesque fishing village of Brixham where there are many fine restaurants.
Head further west and explore the sheltered River Dart; beyond Start Point is the beautiful Salcombe Estuary with spectacular 400 foot cliffs at Bolt Head. Also conveniently situated for crossing the Channel to Brittany, Normandy and the Channel Islands. |
